Service scope

What we build

TCA supports new construction, expansions, retrofits, and upgrades for data centre facilities. We manage the building work and coordinate the infrastructure required to bring these projects into operation.

  • New construction & expansions

Construction of new data centre space and additions to existing facilities.
  • Retrofits & upgrades

Renovations and infrastructure upgrades within existing or operating facilities.
  • Power & backup systems

Construction and coordination work supporting electrical distribution, generators, UPS systems, and other backup power infrastructure.
  • Cooling & mechanical systems

Construction work supporting cooling equipment, ventilation, piping, and other mechanical systems.
  • Building & secure access

Structural modifications, interior construction, equipment spaces, containment, and controlled-access areas.
  • Testing & turnover

Coordination of inspections, system testing, deficiencies, documentation, and project handover.

Client perspective

Been working with TCA for years. Very conscientious team. I have had them on some very complicated projects with complete success. I recommend them and will continue to use them.

Our approach

How TCA coordinates technical work

Data centre construction depends on clear ownership across design, equipment supply, installation, start-up and operations. TCA coordinates the construction plan while engineers, consultants and vendors retain responsibility for the technical criteria within their scopes.

  1. Define requirements and ownership

Confirm project intent, design criteria, scope boundaries, decision-makers and the parties responsible for each technical interface.

  2. Review existing conditions and constructability

Verify access, equipment routes, supports, tie-in points, utility dependencies and the work required to make the design buildable.

  3. Plan procurement, phasing and shutdowns

Align equipment lead times, site logistics, operating restrictions, temporary measures and approved shutdown windows.

  4. Coordinate consultants, vendors and trades

Track shared interfaces, sequencing, site information and issue resolution across the project team.

  5. Support commissioning and turnover

Coordinate deficiencies, records, start-up dependencies and handover requirements with the owner’s commissioning team.
