Derek Burns

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Derek is responsible for organizing and overseeing daily activities for multiple commercial jobs sites. As the Site Supervisor, Derek ensues all the work is completed to the highest level of standards and works collaboratively with the Project Manager in ordering material for jobs. Derek’s innovative mindset means that he is eager to create the best systems and processes for TCA Developments. He created and implemented an emergency action plan and harness safety tag system for all the job sites.

Derek takes the lead on site safety, ensuring our team abides by the policies for construction safety, while being a valuable member of the Health and Safety Committee. Derek has further worked in partnership with Goodwill Career Connections in mentoring a person with a disability in the renovation of the building.
